As my stay in this land  of chaos nears its awaited end, I breathe in relief. I miss my home in Nicosia, my daily habits, my few friends, and above all, the tranquility and peace of mind it has given me... All that I have carried with me here, uncertain it was there, until it was put to the tests I'd been dreading. And here, I passed them all, for the lightness in my stomach,  and the smile on my face, have only increased.

2 days now have passed without a single cigarette...am planning on keeping it that way since I'm keen on keeping my voice, even if I don't do anything with it. But I sense the time of actions is nearing, and it feels good.

Just realizing how fucked up most people are here, and how worse they're becoming most of the time, going downhill at full speed, I'm happy I pulled myself out of this hell-hole...

And as I was planning to come back at New Year's, I'm having second thoughts, but for the only reason that Hadi is coming, and the reunion will be excellent! Maybe I'll come but stay a shorter period, especially that Nadine might not make it afterall!

Some schisms will always remain there, like the huge gap between me and my mother, and my family's background as a whole...but what the hell, there's always a loophole, a choice to be made somewhere to live the day, some relaxed smiling faces that shine warmth into my being, and a lot of fun that awaits me everywhere I go.

A year of recovery is done, now's the time to storm into life again :)))) and what a pleasure that is!
